<NZ recent situation >

NZ 1st Ranked among 30 OECD countries (1998) in 3 areas: youth suicidal rate, juvenile crime rate, usage rate of Marijuana (over 15 years old) 
Single parent family ( 26.7%) in NZ families(2001)
Marriage rate 60% decreased , Divorce rate 400% increased for 3 years(1997-2000)
1986  Homosexuality Act passed
2004  Civil Union Act passed 
2004  Prostitution Reform Act passed  

Result of research re. Crime rate in NZ for 2006(compared with crime rate in 2005)
-> 7% increased ( Drug ‘P’ related crime rate 50% increased, family violence rate 17.4% increased)

1/5 experiencing mental illness in NZ population(1/3 in Maori )

<Promise of God>

Promise of Restoration(2 Chronicles 7:14)
-> if my people (church)   
-> humble themselves, pray, seek my face & turn from their wicked ways  
-> then,--will forgive their sin & heal their land 

Promise of blessing to church in unity
-> I pray that--they may be one --so that the world may believe that you have sent me (John 17:21)
-> How good and pleasant-- when brothers live together in unity--for there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore (Psalm 133)

Where we are(2006)
-> NZ identity as ‘Southern Land of Holy Ghost’ restored( since proclaimed 400 years ago )
-> Reconciliation between Maori & European started in Auckland city 
=> Then, where to go ?

<Vision(facing 2007)>

New community created through reconciliation between different ethnic churches , Maori & European in Auckland (Isaiah 62:4-5)
-> reconciliation between different ethnic churches
-> reconciliation between Maori, European & ethnic churches
-> restoration of identity as family of God in churches
-> restoration of gifts in each culture 
-> blessing from God in unity (Psalm 133)

United Prayer Movement 
-> consistent prayer for the revival (Hosea 10:12, Isaiah 62:6-7)
-> restoration of truth in social sectors (2Chronicles 7:14)
-> standing before God in the gap on behalf of the land
    (Ezekiel 22:30)

<Prophecies re Vision (1)>

New Holy Spirit’s movement from NZ
(proclaimed on 1st January 2000 in Gisborn)
-> as a gateway of the world, new movement will be raised in NZ having new millennium 
   ( Malachi 4:2, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings)
-> restoration of Mana of Maori (as Tangata Whenua)
-> restoration of gifts in each culture in NZ  

<Prophecies re Vision(2)>

Blue Print of calling to NZ to the nations=> ‘Married land in God’ (Isaiah 62: 4-5) ( proclaimed on 4th April 2006 in Tauranga)
-> Isaiah 62, Restoration of Jerusalem( Church community ) 
-> reconciliation between the cultures in church family => reconciliation  between the churches in NZ & God 
-> development of relationship between different cultures in churches 
:Observation-> Attraction -> Courtship-> Covenant
Relationship-> Intimacy-> Fruitfulness-> Marriage 
-> Calling to show the beauty of family of God which shares cultures in unity  

<Prophecies re Vision(3)>

Calling of ethnic churches in Auckland ( proclaimed from Vision for Auckland & YWAM since 2000 )
-> spirit of ethnic churches to be the powerful source for restoration of NZ identity 
-> new ethnic styles of Christianity  to be unifying source for unity in NZ churches 
-> ethnic church’s intercession=> key to unite warrior spirit (Maori) & pioneer spirit( NZ European) for revival in NZ( Ecclesiastes 4:11-12) 

<Future fruits of the Vision>

Providing blessing for next generation 
-> to be agent for the revival ( in each social sectors)
-> to have strong identity as family of God (brothers &sisters beyond the different cultures )
-> to share the gifts of each cultures for mission 

Calling for our generational (1 & 1.5 generation) churches to do commitment for 
  ( Isaiah 62:10-11, prepare the way  for people, build up the highway--)
-> serving different ethnic churches having continuous fellowship & building relationship for unity 
-> praying consistently for the revival together
   

<Suggestions>

2007 GDOP gathering in Auckland city initiated by Ethnic churches 
-> proclamation the reconciliation between Maori, European & Ethnic churches 
-> praising & worshiping in different culture 
-> praying in unity for the revival in NZ 

Steps to take action 
-> Ethnic committee for 2007 GDOP
-> Hui for Ethnic church leaders 
-> Gathering in Marae
-> Monthly prayer meeting in 2007 

<Steps to take action(1)>

Hui for ethnic church leaders in Auckland ( January 2007 ?)
-> sharing the vision towards ethnic churches in Auckland & discerning His voice together  
-> in process of getting support from GRN pastors to prepare the Hui  
-> inviting key ethnic church leaders, Vision Network & AK GDOP committee 
-> making Ethnic committee for GDOP& committee schedule 

<Steps to take action(2)>

Gathering in Marae ( on February 2007 ?)
-> sharing the vision towards ethnic churches in Auckland (after confirmation in Hui) & getting the blessing from Maori churches for the calling 
-> confirming the plan for ethnic gathering in 2007 GDOP 
-> suggestion to Vision Network (AK GDOP committee) & Maori Alliance for the preparation of the gathering  

<Steps to take action(3)>

Monthly united prayer meeting ( February , March, April & May )
-> why: to depend on God only 
-> each month in different ethnic church of the committee member 
-> praying for GDOP & revival 
Ethnic committee for 2007 GDOP
-> monthly meeting( from Feb.2007?)
-> discussing re. time, venue, advertisement, time frame, allocation of tasks--
